Due to different water courses and springs Barjols has many water points (28 fountains and 15 washhouses)

Le Vallon des Carmes :

A natural site to see absolutely, course along the water and waterfalls, the Vallon de Carmes is bordered by the Fauvery river. You can also see the Troglodyte caves and the remains of the Carmelite convent.

Les Tanneries :

We find in Barjols the vestiges (disused factories) of an era, around the 1950s, when the city was considered the small French capital of leather. The many rivers and sources necessary for the proper functioning of the tanneries, favored the activity. At that time, Barjols had 24 tanneries and 19 tan mills. The last factory closed in 1983
