The Corso du Mimosa is an annual event that takes place in Sainte-Maxime, usually in February. It celebrates the flowering of the mimosa, a flower that symbolizes the start of spring in the region.

During this event, floats decorated with mimosa parade through the streets of the city, accompanied by musicians and dancers.

There are also flower contests, mimosa exhibitions, and entertainment for all ages.

The Corso du Mimosa attracts thousands of visitors each year and it is a moment of celebration for the inhabitants of Sainte-Maxime not to be missed!

PROGRAM :

Saturday February 4

From 10 a.m.: immersion behind the scenes of the corso. You can freely access the float construction and flowering workshops by the participating Maximoise associations.

From 12 p.m.: the floats all have their first flowers stung, you can see the finalization of the work proudly accomplished by each associative team.

Sunday February 5

2.30 p.m.: procession and large parade of flower floats on the A. Simon-Lorière promenade accompanied by musical groups, ambulatory shows and costumed characters.

Anyone who has purchased a grandstand ticket is entitled to skip-the-line access to the various entrances to the Corso du Mimosa fan zone. A line will be dedicated to them to facilitate their entry, please go under the line with the sign “Entry with grandstand ticket” to be able to benefit from it.
